ESS Public Sector Support

Providing a Safer Environment for Communities

We took the decision to develop a separate function with the aim of providing a service that will support the public sector and local authorities in their role of providing a safer environment for the communities they serve.

gangESS supplies mobile patrol services to council parks and open spaces, housing estates and hospitals. These services also regularly cover youth clubs, public toilet areas, schools and other public buildings. The aim of the service is to support local councils and police in their roles of assuring a safe environment for all members of the public, by deterring and challenging anti-social behaviour, responding to reports of graffiti, criminal damage, intimidating groups and other incidents. ESS aims to create a good working relationship with the local police in all areas of work, and therefore create a joint approach to dealing with the issues that face and upset the communities.

ESS has also developed a school and college security support service; as well as being able to supply all the services separately. The School Support Service offers, mobile patrol services during out of hours, emergency response service during school hours, routine or random pupil search duties and teacher training, dog drug enforcement and after school exit patrols.

We also offer other support services that assist the public sector in their role, please see Incident Support. Many of these services come as complimentary or at a reduced rate to clients who already have a mobile patrol service.

ESS also pride themselves on being a very useful resource with regards to the Civil Contingency Act in times of major incidents and local resilience by providing all levels of support; flood recovery, road closures, cordons, assisting in evacuations and more. Please spend some time looking at the rest of the website.

If you think ESS might be able to help make your environment safer, or if you would like to ask a specific question, please use this form.
